About The Artist:
She will be graduating this semester with a BFA in printmaking. Her life was not easy she went through a lot of personal issues in her life. She attended CSULB in the past but was kicked out of CSULB because of drug abuse and bipolar disorder these two personal problems affected her grades while attending which then she was put on academic probation. The she had the opportunity to go back to school and took the class History of Printmaking. After taking that course she wanted to take as many printmaking classes. She loves the art she creates and likes putting herself out there. She works at a Database which she loves. She is not looking to make a living with her art.
Her art work is inspired by her life experiences, personal issues, and by her dog. Her husband died about nine years ago. In the artwork show is mostly about her personal issues that she has gone through in her life. You can see a theme physically through out this show.
When she does her art work she hears from the opinion of the people so the outcome of her work is great. She has experimented with all types of printmaking. She takes pictures of what will she create next with printmaking.
I loved the artwork she created it was amazing how detailed it was. It was very creative and It showed how she felt and how the personal experiences affected her.
